Personal Data Protection Law

This information is provided in accordance with the Article 10 of the “Personal Data Protection Law Number 6698” (hereinafter referred to as ‘PDPL’) and due to legal obligation to provide such information. In the PDPL, personal data is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. Our company conducts all its personal data processing activities such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, adaptation, disclosure, transfer, retrieval, making available for collection, categorization or blocking its use by wholly or partly automatic means or otherwise than by non-automatic means which form part of a data recording system, by taking all possible maximum security measures to ensure the confidentiality of private life as well as the protection of all fundamental rights and freedoms. Our purpose is to provide you with information about the method of collection, purposes of processing and legal reasons for collection and processing of your personal data as well as to whom and for what purposes such personal data can be disclosed and the legal rights you can exercise in relation with your personal data.

a) Identity of Data Controller and Its Representative, If Any: Data Controller is Kızılay Investment.

b) Purposes of Processing of Personal Data:
The personal data provided to our Company by you can be processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Identification and assessment of education, health, qualifications and skills required for job requirements of our Company,
  • Assessment of the eligibility for the requested position,
  • Contacting the reference persons to confirm the provided information,
  • Identification of adaptation to corporate culture and practices,
  • Communication,
  • Assessment of your personal data for any suitable future positions in case negative result is obtained from the current job interview,
  • Determination of wage information and scale,
  • Planning and execution of the Human Resources policies and processes of our Company in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes indicated in the Article 5 and 6 of the PDPL, and we can store your personal data for the maximum period prescribed in the relevant legislation or required in line with the purpose of processing and in any case until the end of legal statutes of limitation.

c) The Persons to Whom Such Personal Data Can Be Disclosed and The Purposes of Disclosure: In accordance with the above-mentioned purposes and in line with the personal data processing conditions and purposes indicated in the Article 8 of the PDPL regarding the transfer of personal data; the personal data provided to our Company by you for job application can be disclosed to:

  • Reference persons to confirm the information provided by you, 
  • Education organizations/exam centers that will conduct the general aptitude exam and personality inventory for the purpose of assessing your eligibility for the requested position.

d) Method and Legal Reason for Collection of Personal Data: Your personal data can be collected by using the following methods based on the request made to our company by you and with your explicit consent for the processing conditions prescribed in the Article 5 and 6 of the PDPL and in line with the purposes described in the foregoing items (b) and (c):

  • CVs and other information/documents provided by you to our Company by hand, electronic mail, cargo, through references and similar methods,
  • Employment or consulting companies that our Company cooperates,
  • Controls made with reference persons to confirm the accuracy of the information provided by you as well as the searches conducted by our Company,
  • Written, verbal, electronic or other methods through fully or partly automatic or non-automatic means from the application forms completed by you and published in written or electronic media.

e) Your Other Rights: In accordance with the conditions described in the PDPL; you can make an application to our Company and exercise your rights to know whether your personal data has been processed or not, if your personal data has been processed, ask for information about processing of such data, know the purpose of processing of personal data and know whether such data is used in accordance with the purpose; know whether your personal data has been disclosed to third parties inland or abroad, if it has been disclosed, know the identity of the receiving individuals and entities; ask for the deletion and disposal of the data processed in violation of laws; ask for the correction of your personal data that has been processed incompletely or wrongly; if your personal data has changed, ask for the update of it; ask for deletion or disposal of your personal data if the reasons that require the processing of your personal data has disappeared and ask for providing information to third parties, to whom such personal data has been disclosed, in connection with these operations conducted; ask for the indemnification of the loss suffered by you due to the processing of your personal data exclusively by automatic systems in violation of the legislation, provided that all relevant exclusions, mainly those prescribed in the Article 28 entitled ‘‘Exclusions’’ in the PDPL, are reserved.
